This is an exceptional variety for fresh eating and it's also an excellent variety for roasting. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo accommodate the big fruits, the plants grow tall, often to 30\" in height so it's a good idea to provide a trellis for the plants so the peppers don't end up on the ground. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe city of Reus is about 60 miles southwest of Barcelona on the Mediterranean coast. The city is famous as the birthplace of legendary architect Antoni Gaudí, a major hub for Catalan Modernist architecture, and a historic center for wine, brandy, and vermouth production.
