Borage is one of our favorite edible flowers. The blooms have a refreshing flavor of cucumber and nectar and it’s a wonderful companion plant because it attracts lots of bees and beneficial pollinators.
We grow borage in all of our vegetable beds and the flowers are easy to grow in full sun or part-shade. Seeds can be sown after frost throughout the growing season and they take roughly 60 days to grow from seed to bloom.
