Wando shelling peas are a great variety for a range of climates because they grow well in cold and warm conditions. This heirloom pea variety is new to our seed catalog this season!
The vines grow to about 3ft. and can be planted about 4-6 weeks before last frost in spring. We trellis our shelling peas though they can grow without support. The flavor of sweet fresh garden peas is one of the things we look forward to most in our spring garden!
