Butternut Winter Squash (Cucurbita moschata)
A wonderful storage squash with rich flavor that goes great in soups, pasta sauce, ravioli filling and pies. Butternut vines have solid stems that resist vine-borers and the large fruits can be stored for months in a cool, dry place. If one of your goals is to grow lots of tasty, nutritious food, this butternut is a must!
Origin: The parent seed of our Butternut variety came from a dear friend who has a beautiful farm near Eugene, Oregon.
(Approximately 25 seeds per packet)
