Japanese Seed Collection
Mama spent the summers of her childhood in Japan with her Japanese family (Her mother is Japanese) and we have taken the kids to see their relatives in Japan. These ten wonderful flower and vegetable varieties are all originally Japanese and we saved the parent seeds from various gardens throughout Japan.
The collection includes:
Murasaki sweet pepper (Capsicum annuum) - approximately 20 seeds
Shishito Pepper (Capsicum annuum) - approximately 20 seeds
Purple Shiso (Perilla frutescens) - approximately 100 seeds
Sensation Cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus) - approximately 50 seeds
Garlic Chives (Allium tuberosum) - approximately 50 seeds
Santaka hot pepper (Capsicum annuum) - approximately 20 seeds
Nigella (Nigella damascena) - approximately 50 seeds
Sansaki hot pepper (Capsicum annuum) - approximately 20 seeds
Watermelon Radish (Raphanus sativus acanthiformis) - approximately 100 seeds
Okinawa Pink Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) - approximately 50 seeds
The collection of ten seed packets comes in a cloth gift bag and we include a pamphlet with a little history of each variety and a description of where we harvested the parent seed in Japan.
