Orange Cosmos (Cosmos sulphureus)
Cosmos are easy to grow and make a wonderful cut flower. The 3-5ft plants have feathery foliage and look great in mass plantings. Cosmos are drought tolerant and require very little attention after germination. Butterflies LOVE cosmos! Our Bright Lights cosmos bloom in a range of colors from yellow to deep orange.
Origin: We received the parent seed of our cosmos from friends who live and garden in Oaxaca, Mexico where the plant is native and important in religious ceremonies.

Germination rate: 90% - tested 9/15/24
Planting Instructions: Sow a group of 3 seeds barely covered with soil every 12" in full sun after your last frost. Thin to 1 plant per 12" when 3" tall.
