Bananas Noire Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum)
This beautiful and tasty tomato comes from Lauren of Mr. & Mrs. Tomato Head. Bananas Noire emerged in her garden years ago as an unexpected cross between Ananas Noire and an unknown cherry tomato. The result was a multicolored tomato that is highly productive and has a complex, fruity flavor.Â
The robust plants produce lots of 2-3 oz fruits that start off green and add red, yellow and rusty colors as they mature. This cross has proven to be one of the hardiest and most disease-resistant tomato plant varieties in our garden (regular leaf) and the flavor is incredible! (Indeterminate)
Origin: The parent seed of our Bananas Noire tomatoes were given to us by Lauren from Mr. & Mrs. Tomato Head (Tomato lovers collaborative). Lauren is a world authority on tomatoes and we are so happy that this incredible cross emerged from her garden!Â
(Approximately 20 seeds per packet)
