Black Krim Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum)
This dark colored heirloom hails from Crimea and it is routinely voted a best tasting variety for the rich and sweet flavor. The large fruits are dark red to purple in color and the plants are prolific in production. We love this variety for summertime tomato sandwiches and they are one of our favorites in caprese salad. (Indeterminate)
Origin: We we’re given the parent seed of our Black Krim tomato many years ago by a farmer at Le Marché de la Libération in Nice, France.
(Approximately 20 seeds per packet)
Planting Instructions: We recommend starting tomato seeds indoors in a bright and warm location 4 to 6 weeks before last frost date in spring. Transplant after danger of frost in full sun and trellis.
