The Cherokee Purple tomato is a well-loved heirloom variety from the Cherokee people of NC and TN. The purple tinged fruits from this tomato consistently win competitions for taste and we agree having grown this variety in our garden for a decade. Heirloom tomato varieties are often less productive than hybrids but we think the flavor is worth it!
(Approximately 20 seeds per packet)
Planting Instructions: we recommend starting tomato seeds indoors in a bright and warm location 4 to 6 weeks before last frost date in spring. Transplant after danger of frost in full sun and trellis.
