Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum)
This Thai cherry tomato is super-sweet and a prolific producer. It's often the first variety to ripen in our garden and they produce all the way until the first frost of fall. The fruits are generally round and cherry-sized although they occasionally produce clusters of pear-shaped fruits.
Origin: The parent seed of our Chiang Mai Cherry came from the garden of a friend in Northern Thailand near the city of Chiang Mai. Many years ago, before the kids came along, we spend almost a year traveling in SE Asia. We have Thai friends who live near Chiang Mai and this delicious cherry tomato was growing in their garden. They got the original seeds from a Karen hill-tribe village near the border of Myanmar (Burma).

Planting Instructions: we recommend starting tomato seeds indoors in a bright and warm location 4 to 6 weeks before last frost date in spring. Transplant after danger of frost in full sun and trellis.
