Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum)
Brandywine tomatoes originated near Brandywine Creek in Chester County, PA and have been loved by gardeners since the 1890's. This heirloom produces big, pink fruits that have an unforgettable flavor. Brandywine is our go-to tomato for summer evening tomato-sandwich suppers.
Origin: The parent seed of our Brandywine tomatoes came from a gardener and seed saver in Swannanoa, NC who has grown and saved the classic variety since the 1950s.
(Approximately 20 seeds per packet)
