Cactus Zinnia (Zinna elegans)

Our unique zinnias have been a customer-favorite for many years and we are very excited to introduce our new cactus zinnia!

These bright and cheerful blooms have narrow petals that square at the end and the big flowers are generally 3-5" across. Cactus zinnias grow under the same conditions and to the same height as our other zinnia varieties. The interesting shape of the petals add a touch of whimsy to your zinnia bouquets. 

Origin: The parent seed of our cactus zinnia was given to us by a friend here in Western North Carolina who runs a cut-flower farm. She has grown, selected and saved her best cactus zinnias for over a decade.

Germination rate: All of our seeds test over 70% germination and we re-test germination rate every 6 months.
